Our Story
We are a family-owned business based in Central Minnesota, committed to improving safety and efficiency in highway maintenance operations.
Our journey began with Scott, a highway maintenance team leader, who witnessed firsthand the dangers faced by workers during high-tension cable repairs. Workers used unsafe tools to separate high-tension cables while replacing posts, leading to frequent injuries.
Scott recognized the need for a safer solution and, alongside his son Dusty, developed the concept for a more efficient tool to separate cables. After extensive testing and refinement, the HTC SeparatR NXT was born- a 100% cordless, self-contained tool designed to separate high-tension cables.
